Ebon Fisher explored a range of immersive, interactive arts projects, from graffiti in Pittsburgh to immersive media rituals in Boston and Brooklyn. Fisher's community-based social media experiments in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the 1990s included the Eyeball Scanning Party, The Weird Thing Zone, (718) SUBWIRE, The Media Compressions and a Web Jam, billed as Organism, involving 120 collaborators and 2000 guests. Fisher was a passionate participant in the creation of a creative community in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in the early 1990s and a founding members of the Brooklyn Immersionists.
